Drew Doughty came into the game vs the Isles with 659 points, the same as Butch Goring's 659 points. DD would have an assist in the game giving him 660 points passing Butch Goring's 659 points. The game was on 3/11/24 between the Kings and Islanders. On 3/10/1980 the Kings traded Butch Goring to the Islanders where he would win 4 Cups. 44 years to the day passed after the trade before Goring shows up as the Isles color commentator only to be passed in person by Doughty.

We have to have the worst power play in nhl history. I swear after every game I’ve watched this year our power play is non existent every game and I feel like we just pass it around then go back to the red line then pass it back and then repeat. They never take shots unless the goalie can fully see it. Something needs to change if we wanna win in the playoffs

That penalty on juice was atrocious. Gets pushed into the goalie. Can see that from miles away

you could go for dinner and drinks and come back and not miss anything at an LA game. Snoozefest. The most boring team in the nhl by far. The trap is the most ridiculous formation in sports. Yeah you might win some games but if im a season ticket holder im returning my tickets staying home and watching paint dry and its still more exciting.
