Nah, I'm a white man and was raised using wash clothes, rags, whatever. I was raised working class poor and i didn't know about using loofahs or sponges until later in life. But i was raised that no matter how poor you are that you can keep your home and self clean and respectable.

White lady here. My parents grew up poor, but I would say I grew up middle class. Used a wash cloth my whole life. What a rude thing for that woman to say.

Miss Helena, You have Not lost your mind, far from it!!! I have always used washcloths or washrags and know that my parents always did too. I am also proud to say that I helped our three grandchildren to use washclothes/washrags. As well my husband/bestest friend has always used them same as me, plus our three children use washcloths from their first bathing to current too!!! So, Really No need to check your sanity!!! We All clean!!! 😂🎉

I’m white, grew up using a washcloth and at 63, I’m STILL using a washcloth! It’s not a white/black thing, it’s not a rich/poor thing, it’s a “I’ve gonna get my a$$ clean! thing!!

I use a wash clothe & I raise all the little ones in my life to use a wash clothe. Thank God for the upbringing of my Mom & the elders in our family🙏🏾❤️🙌🏾
