This is a hostage video. It's the very reason why I teach men to not get married, cohabitate or merge finances with women in any way. The whole of Thailand is filled with foreigner men who for some reason or another feel the need to enmesh with Thai women. Meanwhile, guys like me are condemned for coming to Thailand for 2 weeks of fun on Pattaya Soi 6. I'm happy, single and free. This guy is married, miserable and trapped. Which one of us is winning?

I say this with all do respect maybe you take a step back from drinking, start to work out, and really get learn to talk the language and see if that helps the relationship. I don’t think being single in Spain is the answer they aren’t very tolerant to foreigners over there right now.

Hey man I'm a Dub who married a woman the same age as me from Thailand from Issan 25 years ago, Im 54 now. We lived in BKK near you in Rama 9 Ratchada soi 3, and used to hang out in Huay Kwang a lot. We have 2 kids they are now 23 and 19 and we are still together having the craic. Its not all bad but there's give and take in every relationship. Best of luck ironing out your row but I wouldn't make a big deal about it when she gets back and dont read too much into it mate.

Being married to an alcoholic or functioning alcoholic can't be fun for her either. Put yourself in her shoes for one minute and think about the life you give her and the frustration of living with someone whose whole existence revolves around alcohol dependence.
