For anyone struggling with the wall jump only press your jump button after you've basically ran off the roof otherwise sekiro gets kind of stuck on the corner of the roof

This still works as of march 27th 2024…. I struggled for a bit with the wall jump. My breakthrough was understanding where to stand. I used the white dot on the roof of the tower as a reference and placed myself in the bottom left corner like in the video. As I begin running, I held down the grab button (remapped to L1) and jumped at the last moment. A few tries of this and I got it.

Still works as of January 2nd 2024. Second jump is tricky though. You got to time it perfectly as you're falling off the edge.

The best DoH guide. I did it in less than 10 jumps. The remapping of the controller keys helps it greatly. Thanks. Still works in February 2023.

This was much better explained & demonstrated than a couple other videos using this strat. Thank you cause this is the most braindead op boss (optional or otherwise) that I've ever fought in a game. God damn, I haven't gotten tilted at a single player game in forever. This cheap bastard doesn't deserve a fair battle. Lol thanks again.

For anyone struggling on jumping across the tower and onto the gate, you have to perform a delayed jump in order to make it.

5/5/23 Strat still works. It took a while to get both jumps right. And also, as the other commenters have stated, this vid did a MUCH better job explaining what to do than the others I've seen. Thank a bunch!
