So it may not seem very necessary but my friend is a professional seamstress and she always stresses the importance of pressing your seams before turning your projects right side out and then pressing the seams again. Sounds like it wouldn’t do much but it makes so much of a difference! It makes corners and turns much more defined and it helps make pressing the right side much easier! And idk of it had been adjusted to be more comfortable than sturdy, but in case something sturdier is desired, adding a thin interfacing layer in between lining and fabric will give it a good sturdy build. But if it’s too stiff and uncomfortable, I would at least suggest to add a simple strip of interfacing as a lining for the eyelets. It’s a sturdy base for them to clamp on too and you wouldn’t have to worry about it ripping with wear and tear. These are only suggestions; it looks great regardless!

Wait no this came out at the perfect time because I’ve been planning on cosplaying Annalise and Erika from Barbie Princess and the Pauper and had no idea how to go about making the top half of their dresses.
