Y'all laugh, but when I was in high school worship team during the early 2000's, we legitimately played this chorus during worship multiple times.

The Reason is definitely the best song to put in this genre lyrically and musically

"You don't always have to play the ride."
I felt that on a personal level!

Why did this bring back so many good memories? 😆 I miss playing with the boys at church. I learned so much about lead guitar.

Having played in church for 10 years, the accuracy of the sound check is impeccable. I’ve been the drummer putting my in ears Iate too many times. Awesome video as always!

As a "sound guy" I laughed out loud that you could barely hear the backup singer in the mix....so accurate

I'm a huge Yellowcard fan, and I feel like they really don't get enough credit for the amazing music they wrote.

Never realized how this song fit so well as an actual worship song. Very well done. Really hoping this makes it to Spotify.

This is one of those times you know it is a banger because of Alex Melton, but you know even more it is a banger because the concept is too perfect.

Currently a worship leader and I am, a) crying laughing at all the perfect little details (like the jaded sound guy, ) and b) stealing this song for my own band. Absolutely incredible work.

When the first chorus hit, my brain just went "now imagine this was an unironic 'Jesus is my boyfriend'-type Bethel song" and I could not stop crying laughing from how good the rest of it was

I spent most of my early life being on a worship team every single sunday.

The sound check is 100% point. Every detail. Nailed it.

I love this. I was a pop punk worship musician for a long time. The sound guy always praised the guy with the amp modeler over my expensive tube amp. I wanted to see if I could get away with using Yellowcard in church. Dammit Melton, you are a genius. This straight up sounds like a Hillsong United song that they would have released in 2012.

Growing up, my church’s youth group would sing a few worship songs before our lessons. Because it was a cappella, anyone could start a song and the rest would join in. One time a parent brought their 5 year old kid and he started singing Reflection from Mulan. So we all just joined in and sang about the girl we see in the mirror. Honestly pretty impressed with how many of us knew the words by heart

As a lover of both Yellowcard & a vocalist on a worship team, this is EVERYTHING!

This rendition cannot remove the smile off of my face. I miss playing for our church. Keep it up!

As a pop-punk loving sound tech at a church, this hit me on a deep level, lol. Nice work, man!

A teen brother of my friend died when this song came out and I had introduced them to YC and this actually played at the end of his funeral at Hillsong church. It was heavy. He was only 14 and ended his own life

I'm a worship musician and I love pop punk. This is perfect, especially the sound guy in the beginning 😂
