Building a bar chart and coloring a specific bar in Python matplotlib

Coloring a specific bar might be trickier than expected. In this video, I have colored a specific bar using a simple but an effective technique.

The database: The main purpose of this database was to operationalize innovation performance of the biggest pharmaceutical firms measured as the number of patents. To construct this unique database, a wide range of name matching algorithms and data processing techniques were used to assign patents to pharmaceutical firms. For the sake of simplicity, in this video I chose only top 15 firms for the bar chart.
