For the DIY people who don’t have a press. You can buy the press or a bearing and hub removing kit. Both theses kits can be rented from auto stores. I’d recommend the slide hammer to remove the hub over the other tool. Remove the hub and bearing while knuckle is on the car then do everything else to take it out. After it’s out take the knuckle and new bearing and hub to a tire shop, they should be able to install it. Prices will very by your location and shop one shop quoted me $65 per knuckle another $25 it depends. I went with the $25 and they did a great job. Then just installed the knuckle and everything back together.

Wish all the knuckle joints I have worked on would separate after 2 bangs (even after 20 bangs & a lot of #%@#) with a big hammer using a knuckle separator you have to be very careful you don't destroy the rubber grease cover 1A Videos are great

Once tried to squeeze a shortcut in, I swapped the rubber for something use I grab from the junkyard. Biggest mistake. I had to runback and forth a day before my return to job. Almost didn’t make time.
