I’m just gonna say it… I’m rooting for this Xerxes guy. He’s dripped out from head to toe, he’s posing like an absolute g, he’s got a hella tuff voice, and he’s jacked as hell

Some fantastic Dialogue these writers put together, and the inflection in the voice acting is next level too. So much alchemy happens in such a short window of opportunity, truly master class work from all involved. An instant Classic.

They couldn't have cast a better actor than G. Butler for this film.
Back when this film was released, if I had the power to do so, I would have awarded it, the directors, producers, actors/actresses, etc...handfuls of Oscars. There was simply no other film at the time that came anywhere close to this one.
