I loved Jim Carrey as the Riddler. It's just that I wish they could've done better with the outfit.

You know, I think Riddler and Two-face are obssesed with Batman in different ways:

Two face hates Batman because he blames him for the acid attack because hr thinks he was too optimistic because batman made him that way.

Riddler doesn't hate batman, but he does yearn for him. He wants to feel validated by him. He can't kill batman because he craves Bruce's attention and appreciation. He freaks out when he sees the Bat because it's a sign that he has been rejected by Bruce in favour of being batman. And so he in the end immitates batman because he longs for the same attention Bruce gives batman and so fantasies about being him. And he will not let anyone else find out who batman is because he cannot stand the thought of anyone else besides him claiming him. He kidnapped both Chase and Robin because they were taking attention from him from Bruce. Like all possessive abusers in relationships he didn't want Bruce to have anything in his life that wasn't him.

Two-face hates him. Riddler wants him.
