thank you, that makes so much sense, and very appropriate for the bunkers where I play on public courses, which rarely have much sand. Most of the tips I have been watching on bunker shots, show beautiful white sand exploding out with the shot, easy they say.

Spot on. I use my 54* wedge in this spot instead of my 60*.

Did you use a 56? May I ask what to do if sand is more compact than this should you just hit ball flush?

Because of CoVid, rakes were taken out of the bunkers and although it has subsided, the rakes have not made their way back. Therefore, bunkers are unattended and hard. Excellent tip about using a wedge with less bounce and a more knifing approach to the shot.

So you've made a video on how to get out of a hard pan, wet sand bunker. How about making one about a soft - soft deep sand - bunker. I bet you cannot.
