Autocad electrical is one of the most frustrating softwares I have used, especially in comparison to Autocad which is easy in comparison. It has fought me every step of the way. Whether it be the menu icons or project manager not showing up, or components not automatically connecting to the bus. Nothing is intuitive or having to go into a convulated amount of steps to change nfpa to iec symbol icons. I have never had that much trouble before. Altium is a joy to use in comparison. Even the tutorials step by step are different everytime to my own experience. Even simply following the instructions to create a new circuit has been a different experience. But when I get it to work it doesn't automatically connect to the vertical buslines.

Edit for example, unlike autocad, which assumes the exact position you want to place a component is the intersection of the cross lines. I have now realised you actually have to place the circle symbol of terminals directly on the line. This would have been not an issue on autocad and there would have been plenty of guidance on the screen to let you know that you can lock in the symbol as unto the multiple bus. And now despite following all the online guides I cannot find the file when I click on component I want from icon menu.

Not the video creator's fault.
