You have to appreciate Ed. He lost one of his closest mates (Jamal Edwards), He was questioned and mocked in court about his integrity as a singer-songwriter and this news that the woman he loved was in so much pain while pregnant can make anyone crumble. Ed continued with his tour, continued to release collaborations throughout 2022, never ever spoke about it until now. This bloke is beyond humble, god bless him. What an end to the mathematical era, patiently waiting for Subtract now 💛

Fun fact. When ur last album debuted at midnight I was on a beach drinking and listening to music and was debating on ending my life and then Spotify popped up saying give this a crack and the majority of the songs reminded me of my family so I didn’t die. Whenever I hear them songs now I always relive sitting in the sand in the pouring rain at a Cornwall beach lol.

Ed Albums Theory:
Plus (+) was him coming on to the music scene. Multiply (×) was his fame getting larger and becoming more successful. Divide (÷) was his most impactful separated from the other works. Equals (=) was everything leading up to how his life is now, married, child, a well off life. Subtract (-) is his last album before he retires for awhile, subtracting himself from the music scene when all is said and done to focus on his family for awhile. What do you think🤷
