Great to see. Mine was a 1954 'split screen" bought in 1966 for.70 quid. Happy days!

You can clean up the rotor and the cap contacts with a bit of fine sandpaper.Easy cars to work on! CHEERS from western Canada

I had one of those wondercars when I was 16 and I did a valve grindd on it myself. Easy car to work on.The sreering was on the left for use in Canada! Great little car and in the late 1960S and early 70S there were lots of parts at the auto wreckers.

A good move, if you can, is to get a red rotor arm from Accuspark. It will work on a standard distributor and it is a far, far stronger and higher quality item. Tbh the whole Accuspark conversion is worth doing but the rotor arm is a must.

The coil connections
If negative earth, the negative coil connection goes to the wire from the distributor (CB / contact breaker or points)
Switch or + is the live or positive feed from the ignition switch.

If it's a positive earth car then the connection should be reversed
