The part attached to the drawer needs to be 1 2mm higher than the other one, not bumping at it.

"no more bang"...more like extra bang. Guys he made a mistake somewhere in the installation if you use this on MALM drawers I can confirm its a great product and actually makes it soft close. Do make sure to use two for EACH drawer (one per side for each mechanism), one doesnt work.
