It also looks like they can be installed on left or right sides of the drawer. The exposed top piece when the drawer is open is available in white or gray only, so spray paint might be needed for wood or other color drawer sides, if you want to hide them slightly. They are sold in sets of two for two light weight drawers. Heavier drawers may need a set on each side, ROK says.

They need to sponsor you for doing such a great job explaining the install process and value of the product. Thank you for a great tutorial.😊

I installed these about 4 years ago. They’ve worked beautifully and I’ve not had to replace a single one.

We just installed this kit and are thrilled! My husband has several drawer units in the garage that have heavy items in them. We were concerned this kit wouldn't handle a heavier load but it did a fabulous job. Now the drawers are pulled closed with ease! Well worth the time to complete this project. BTW, we had to add 3/4" trim board pieces to screw the glide piece behind the rail on the cabinet wall. It worked perfectly and added extra stability to the drawers as well. I noticed Lee Whitmore mentioned you might need two pulls for heavier drawers but we didn't need to do that with any of the drawers we installed this kit on.

One of the better "how to" videos I've seen.

Your videos really are some of the best DIY on YouTube and have helped immensely over the years. Excellent job filming and explaining the "how to's". Looking forward to the next one!

You are a great teacher and explain things clearly. Having said that, I did install these on 2 kitchen drawers. They work exactly as you said. My kitchen drawers don't have handles, just a routed edge so they are not as easy to open. You did mention this. As much as I like the way they close, it's a deal breaker when it comes to how the drawer now opens. As many reviewers have said on Amazon, the plastic tabs were all broken off. You can still easily install them.

I put those on my kitchen drawers (16 drawers) a little over a year ago. Today exactly 4 have not broken, gotten stuck, or stopped working entirely. Don’t waste your money or time.

I bought these and "assumed" I would have an easy installation....opened a can of worms ! First, my drawer sides are made of metal....Secondly....drawer guides are at the top where there is NO room to attach the Soft Close there a solution??....anybody??? ***UPDATE**** I figured it out...reverse engineered the installation process and result was fantastic ! Made a video as well...lol

My drawers have its mech underneath the center of the drawers but i think i could still mount this system on the side with some proper measurements

thanks for the great instructions - just installed them on my new kitchen cabinets - I found that the piece that goes on the drawer is the hardest piece to install (for me). But I am finished and everything works great again. I watched the video 2 x to make sure I didn't screw it up !!!

Carpentery is a skill, I have been trying to make a flat pack cabinet for the last 3 days and have absolutely made a disaster of it! To fit this self closing runners and to make them work perfectly it will take me 3 years!

I’m about to remodel my kitchen and I want to save as much as possible. Using stock Home Depot cabinets that I will also spray to get the color I want. The one down side to them is the way the drawers close. Feels cheap. I think this would add a new level of quantity for very little money. Thanks for sharing!

Dissecting the mechanism to show how it works internally would be interesting and also might give a clue to its longevity (plastic gears, etc). How many cycles are these rated for? I like the concept but I’d want to know these aren’t going to fail in 12 months after putting a bunch of screw holes in drawers and cabinets. In woodworking projects I’ve used Blum tandem blumotion slides which are expensive and as you pointed out require replacement of existing hardware if you want to retrofit them in, but they are rock solid and built to last decades. You sometimes get what you pay for.
