You have heard a lot about Sulfates or Sulfate Free Shampoos but are they any good for your hair? Let's discuss.

Hello,
I'm Dr. Sajjad Khan. For over 25 years I've seen thousands of my clients enjoy the confidence that comes from having great looking hair.
I’m very excited about the Kerluxe line of premium hair care products that I have developed in collaboration with a Swiss
a cosmeceutical research firm.
People really care about their hair. That’s why I’m making this video to answer the question: “Are sulfates good or bad for the Hair?”
Sulfates are the detergents in shampoo whose role is to clean the hair and provide a natural shine. The sulfates bind to the extra oil and dirt found on the hair’s surface during washing.
Sulfate free shampoos are detergent-free, and cannot clean to the same degree as premium quality sulfate products.
A good cleaning shouldn’t strip the hair of its natural protection and luster. The conventional sodium lauryl and laureth sulfate are harsher detergents in regular shampoos. Kerluxe shampoos, however, have premium quality sodium coceth sulfate, which is a milder detergent and provides excellent cleansing and natural
shine restoration.
So, are sulfates good for your hair? Yes, mild sulfates, combined with other premium specialty ingredients, are necessary if you want healthy hair that is clean and vibrant.

I have been using sulfate free shampoo for six months after hair damage. My hair returned back to its smooth and healthy nature, but recently i started having skin irritation and pimples and very bad itchiness in my scalp. I changed again to sulfate shampoo and the problem was solved in one use. Now im using a sulfate shampoo with non-sulfate hair mask and leave-in conditioner. I feel my hair clean and also soft after one month. But, I will see what will happen after few months.

Please don't listen to everything you hear sulphates are ok to use jus dnt use it often because it's definitely a deep cleaner witch wat u are using it for anyway right using regular shampoos will probably dry your hair out and u will lose the (sebum)in your hair over time but I guess it depends on your hair type and what really works for you the best but it's ok to use a good sulphate shampoo and then use a none sulphate deep conditioner afterwards to put back some of the nutrients your hair needs and you'll be jus fine!
