For years VW has been charging premium prices for what should be affordable cars. If they didn't realise yet, the public know and arent being fooled any more.

It's not only an EV problem - it's also a diesel problem. EU is destroying the diesel technology.

Toyota will soon overtake VW as the best selling brand in Europe. VW brand is currently 1st but only had 1.8% growth, while 2nd place Toyota had 15.2% growth. Europeans are starting to prefer Toyota's over VW

I swore off VW back in 2019 when they killed the golf wagon in the USA.

Why will I buy a new Volkswagen Tiguan for 60, 000 euros ? Absolutely expensive vehicles, not a auto for the normal people.

Absence of cheap Russian gas is stifling the Big Germans 😢

How about they lower the price of their cars? Specially electric VW cars are super high. They are not competitive in the marketplace.

Deindustrialization is a real possibility in Germany in medium-term... 😨

The VW EV offerings aren’t that great, honestly, so it’s kind of their fault. The ID4’s UI is notoriously not great and their EV products aren’t really distinct.

EV efforts faltering is obviously not true, Norway is at 90% EV's for new cars bought.. the story is the VW can not compete with other EV makers..

A sleeping, fat, complacent, and devious giant for far too long. A big thanks for Dieselgate.

Look at how carefully chosen words by this woman 👩 god if it’s about Chinese car companies’ performance this woman would have definitely lashed out lol 😂

Killed by lack of innovation and consumer demand. EU carmakers were asleep in the pandemic and now lag behind in innovation in contrast with Chinese competitors. In EU people don't afford a 40k car. In China they choose a BYD or others that are 50% cheaper for the same / superior performance. They have top engineers who studied at top EU and US universities...

The management is just too slow to compete.

They have been making over priced, unreliable low quality cars for years

VW wanted to reduce its bloated workforce decades ago but couldn't. VW wanted to switch to EVs years ago but their CEO was removed instead. VW just can't seem to get out of its own way. 🤷

Maybe if they didn't waste the subsidies and money on share buy back programs to enrich the big investors or the nice fat bonuses the CEO gets, then they'd have money to spend on research and development on EV tech and wouldn't be so far behind the Chinese firms who don't waste their money. 🤷‍♂️
