The economy at work. The EU is pushing the absurd CO2 rules but the people do not want to spend their money on electric cars.
The customer decides, not politics.

So the reporters won't explain how the owners have billions of profit? I'm waiting for one of those mega companies to bankrupt, oh wait the workers will bankrupt, but the owners will still have billions. Poor billionaires ☹.

When your gas and electricity bills are 300 times larger because no more cheap Russian gas is coming, then your industry has to increase prices of their products and lose the competitiveness they had. Send more money to Ukraine, see will that help.

Dear EuroNews or YouTube moderator : Why delete comments that ask if German Auto Industry, that is not switching to Electric fast enough, if it will get new Financial Terms like Ukraine Debt, where Rothschild, Blackstone, Amundi, etc., are getting new Debt Restructuring ? It involves IMF and EBRD Taxpayers funds .

Having driven American, German, and Japanese cars, I can tell you that I used to think General Motors make the worst cars till I bought GTI from VW.
By far, German cars are the worst cars in the world when compared to American or Japanese cars . The best cars are Japanese made cars like Toyota for example. I own 1995 Toyota Corolla and That car still runs like brand new in 2024. Never had any major problems with engine or transmission. I comparison my German VW GTI developed transmission problem and the dealer wanted $11, 000 to fix it. This is on top of majie expensive repairs every few months.
A typical car owner in US buys German car once and never again. This is because all European cars typically develop transmission or engine problems with with thousands of dollars to repair.
