Hello, the first one is Lisa Gerrard (Dead can dance), and man she can sing way lower than that!!! One thing is obvious throughout this video; even if you're not the best, you're always stronger in your natural range! (I find it so ridiculous to fight over who can sing the higher note... we're all different!) And for more lowes; Chezelle from The Voice South Africa!!!

If Cher surprised you, maybe it's time for reaction to some of her live vocals in the last years 😁 Her vocals has gone better and better even with 72 years old. She might not be the best singer (She's a good solid vocalist), she might not be the prettiest etc... But she is special. 😊

Cher is actually a low mezzo soprano, Lalah Hathaway is a mezzo soprano, Lisa Gerrard is a mezzo soprano, Beyonce is a lyric soprano, and Jojo is a lyric soprano. There are no true contraltos in this video with the exception of Annie Lennox. Nina Simone should have been in this video for a contralto example.

I wouldn’t classify Cher as a contralto. She really honestly sounds more like a mezzo just has a thicker voice. Just like Mariah ISNT a soprano. Maybe a mezzo. But not a soprano. You can hear the difference when comparing her to other sopranos.
