Been trying to recover from a sprained ankle from a few weeks ago but kept re-injuring it by accident. Finally decided to focus on stretching and improving mobility and this video couldn’t have come at a better time.

i had ankle sprain on sept. I did bunch of heel raises, single leg balance, and calf stretches. Felt much better. This video proves that once again movement is medicine.

That banded mobilization has helped me get a little more mobility back on a years-old sprain injury, but it's still painful and impinged. Guess I just keep working at it?

Update: been doing this a few more times and while I didn't notice a big difference the first time, and still had a lot of pain the second time, by the third time there was much less pain and much more mobility. It's still not perfectly pain free, but I feel hopeful I'll get there by continuing to repeat this mobilization. 👍🏽👍🏽

I just said yesterday I was going to DM you on sprained ankles lol ! Perfect timing. I use most of your videos for rehabbing my entire body. And they work! I wasn’t far off on my own just listening to my body but I’m no professional and your videos are awesome! ❤

Thank you! I'm glad I found this. Healing from a fractured ankle& it's still wobbly on higher stairs or curbs. Needed some strengthening exercises.

Rolled my ankle for the umpteenth time in July, still can’t do calf raises without pain so will try the last exercise, cheers doc!

I've been rolling my ankles since middle school. I always gave myself a few minutes to "walk it off" afterward then would flex and bend it throughout the day to prevent stiffness. Almost as good as new the next day.

I had an ankle sprain recently swelled up pretty bad (grade 1)
Though skeptical at first it does work
Had a medical boot during work, didn’t wanna risk injuring again. When I had every opportunity to move it I did!

Hey! Thanks for the great video!
I recently suffered a severe ankle sprain. Doc at the walk in clinic told me to wait to swelling is gone before doing physio. Does anyone have any input? I started doing physio last week. The major swelling is gone, but still gets poofy after activity. What should I do?
