Because of your frequently asked questions regarding the living conditions in both cities, I decided to create a brief video on this topic. Batumi or Tbilisi? Well, everything depends on you preferences and particular interests, so it's not easy to give one and exact answer. In this video, I tried to give some examples and answer your questions from different perspectives of view. Hope it will be useful for you.

I am from Tbilisi. I've lived in New York for 22 yrs. I sense that, there's strong entrepreneural spirit in Georgia. I think, I'll have better business opportunities over there and in general better quality of life, which shows, how far Georgia has moved forward. Are there lof of Georgians coming back?

I'm hoping you can help me with this question, Marina. I love your videos. I heard that for someone wanting to permanently relocate to Georgia (become a citizen), they cannot buy or own land or a house until they've lived in Georgia for 10 years? Is this true? I am very interested about moving to Georgia and would be able to buy a home.

People under 40 years old naturally focus more on economic opportunities and entertainment while those above 40 prefer a healthier living environment, less stress and less carbon dioxide pollution.
While capital cities almost always offer better opportunities around the world second tier cities (like Batumi) are a better places for family life. 😉
Both Tbilisi and Batumi are great cities and fortunately they are linked by a modern and comfortable (and cheap) train line allowing people to visit them both regularly .
