5:23 I know EXACTLY what is up with the fries being so greasy. It's the fact that they fry them _twice_ instead of just once. It helps give them that extra-crispy crunch, but the fries also go floppy a little bit quickly as a result thanks to the trapped oils.

Interesting thing I discovered recently:

You can actually get a higher quality burger, and one that is WAYYYY cheaper at Chilis and Texas Roadhouse. With burger joints like 5Guys and BGR, you actually pay for the convenience of that burger. Not the quality.

One thing you missed is how FG specifically play mind games on their menu. They call their standard single burger the "Little" because they know that no one will want it. Also, the "extra" fries you're getting at the bottom of the bag aren't extra. They're part of the regular amount of fries they're supposed to serve you so it tricks your brain into thinking you're getting a better deal than you actually are.

Used to be a manager at one, employees are also underpaid, managers dont get breaks or a chance to eat and are just expected to come in early/stay late, no AC in the kitchen and after a OSHA complaint they still did nothing. Five guys is definitely a greedy company.

I think you just lost the video by calling an $8 hot dog a reasonable price. $8 is not a reasonable price for a hot dog ever. That is stadium pricing. That is the only place I've ever paid $8 for a hot dog is at a stadium.

Geezus, none of those prices are reasonable. I don't care how good they are. I don't expect everything to be Costco $1.50 hotdog prices, but come on, Santi, quit being a corporate apologist. $7.09 for a hotdog? $6.39 for a grilled cheese sandwich? No way, jose.
