Honestly having 4th paths in BTD6 would probably have been a better addition to the game than paragons, though elite bosses would have to be nerfed because paragons wouldn't be in the game. I feel like getting a 4th upgrade path on every tower would be more fresh and new than paragons were. Maybe you would have to unlock them through quests or something, or maybe they would just be there and be unlocked through XP like all the other paths.

Also in a universe where this happened NK would have to add the paragon visuals (ex. background design) used for the VTSG because paragon visuals are just too cool to go unused
