Again I love your voice. If I could ask something maybe you can clarify. All the Krav Maga teachers I've had started off by telling me to let desperate people get what they want. If they want money or your car keys, cell phone, even your iPad it would be better to escape the situation unscathed and safe and give a desperate person what they want than to open up with aggression and possibly get hurt. Why are you teaching people this? There is absolutely zero consideration for appropriate use of force or the legal ramifications of committing battery in defense of a personal possession. Some cultures and jurisdictions allow for what you demonstrated, but all laws differ in what "reasonable force" is.

This whole video is predicated on defending personal property and you state that the assailant might attack you personally much, much later. That does change the dynamic because if you can prove the person intended to harm you and you were in fear for YOUR imminent physical safety, you'll have an easier time in court. But in the US, with the way you frame this situation, you better hightail it out of there once you beat the crap out of the would-be thief because if they figure out who you are and decide to press charges, YOU are the one who'll be facing a judge.

Y'all, take YouTube personalities' advice with a grain of salt. "Krav Maga Girl said it was OK in one of her videos!" is NOT a justifiable legal defense.
