Friend friend friend. DID it at last. Followed the link youtve sent me for the tmax 530. After inserting OLD key code, I followed the steps as per manual, got a red light on the new key, pressed the key button on the new jey and that was it. Registered successfully. Man, really appreciate your patience and efford. Best channel❤️

Great step by step tutorial. Let the key activated without pressing de button, while pressing the knob for 5sec the smartkey will automatically light you key red light, and then you press once on the button, and you hear a bip. Great work, saving alot of money!

Im having no luck. Its an ebay key fob. Does it have to be an OEM yamaha fob?

For owners of 2022-2024 models T-max, Most of the process i done using the LOCK button - lower part of the big lock button - and the final 5 sec confirmation is done using the SEAT LOCK button - upper part of the big lock button.

HI. my name is Vik. I purchased used Yamaha X Max 250 (YP250RA) 2018 from Japan. I live in Kazakhstan. So the scooter was used and with only one remote key and without ID code card. I decided to purchase new remote control unite (one key included) and a separate one, just to have 2 keys from my scooter. I made a change of main remote control unit by it not working. I disconnected battery, then it opens, main panel is ON, but engine is not starts. Error 54 appears on panel. I found the error code meaning but i don’t know how to solve the problem. I don’t have official Yamaha dealer in my city. Could you please give me an advise on my problem?

Very detailed and GREAT video, BUT I have one question. I have a 2016 tmax 530 with one smart key. I have purchased a second smart key, trying to register it but I cannot. I think I am missing something here on the procedure. Lets say that the existing key has ID 1234 and the new key has ID 5678.

After raising seat 3 tumes I insert new keystID#5678 but something seems to be wrong. New key cannot be registered. But after watching your video again and again... While performing the emergency mode procedure, just after raising seat 3 times, SHOULD I FIRSTLY insert first key's ID#1234 before inserting new key's ID#5678? Thanks
