Either that or an alternative method I found the “Hard copy” fob which I hope many still have access to if still having this problem. It registered and let me turn ignition even though with other fob it wasn’t working. But with the hard copy it did! God did 🙏😁. Was trying for 3 days to get it back operational, happy to say it now is 🙏! Just got it back started this morning with the “Hard copy” key fob

I realy Thank you for the advice. I had the same problem and i dit this with the key. A big piece of dirt came out of the key. Now its working again.

Anyone with a clk classes on mercades it’s either your fob battery which is easy and cheap to replace or it’s ur acctually battery . I had this issue on my clk 350 turns out my car battery was the issue, overall I hope this comment helped keys are like science tbh till I came across this video 🤝

Hi Mate, my merc’ gl 450 key fob seems like it’s working but it won’t crank, I live in St Kitts and we don’t have a dealer or anyone that can help me, one geezer testing fuses jumped across something and it cranked but didn’t spark, he said it might be the immobilizer, any ideas please.
