nvm i figured out why, i never named the folder image, so i went into the .zip and renamed it and now it works, good tut, subbed

I used photoshop elements 4 (but any version will work), the Nvidia dds plugin for photoshop (to read, edit and save dds fomats) and WTV to help me view the final dds images.

Once the plugin is installed photoshop should pick it up, and as far as I know every photoshop supports it. And dds will be in photoshops save file formats.

So you need the Nvidia Plugin + Any adobe Photoshop?

when i do this i load the mod but dont see the changes i made to the textures, it still looks like the default environment not my modded coloring, i did exactly what you did only made it dark grey with a blue border and i also did blue boosts cuz it wasnt that hard, just did adjustment changes

You can find a dds converter somewhere probably, google it.

bcoz when i want to open a .dds file an error comes in the screen and says "wrong file type"
