Riots: Starmer calls EMERGENCY meeting as THIRTY protests PLANNED across UK with fears of violence

'The PM said he will take all necessary action to bring the disorder to an end.'

Christopher Hope reveals there has been an emergency cabinet meeting as it's understood there could be up to six protest events today, and thirty more tomorrow with fears of further violent disorder.

This comes as Starmer announces a 'standing army' of specialist police officers to control the disorder seen across the UK in the wake of the murder of three girls in Southport which sparked violent disorder in the town.

Further disorder continued in London, Hartlepool, Birmingham, Middlesbrough, Sheffield, Liverpool, Bristol and Leeds.
