Beyond the Concert Hall: Mark Ainley

The Vancouver Recital Society's Founder & Artistic Director, Leila Getz, speaks to Mark Ainley, a Vancouver-based expert in historical piano recordings. Mark is also the author of The Piano Files blog, where he aims to shed light on the greatest pianists of the past and present. Mark and Leila discuss his research and writing on the late, great Romanian pianist Dinu Lipatti, as well as other piano giants such as Solomon and Rachmaninoff.
