Awesome video sir! I searched something like this for a long time! Did you softened the metal prior to shaping, and heat treated it again later?

Hello. This was very interesting to watch! I understand that after trimming the cutter to desired nose shape and groove contours, you must cut spiral relief grooves because you're spinning the tool between the two closing halves of the mold block. But it appears in the video as if the desired shape is almost completely obliterated. I assume I'm not seeing something here which you do see when the job is complete. Is it at all possible to put some annotation notes on the video to explain what is going on? Thank you. :)

A bullet mold cutter is called a CHERRY and if that thing would cut a proper bullet mold it would be a miracle

Hi Tom,
the steel for the tool/cutter was 12mm HSS that i got from ebay. On the outside it is very hard, which kills every carbide tipped tool.

Can you please de-aacelerate the cutting with dremel part please? It sounds like dentist drill with the speeded-up sound :)

Useless to waste so much time making the lube grooves only to dremel it down to the wrong size. Lets see the mold block it cut and casting bullets or it got thrown away like so many other disappointments.
