I will be getting a black king snake, I’m wondering if I can use 2 parts eco terra plantation soil and 1 part play sand as the substrate. I want to keep said snake in its natural habitat as much as possible. if I’m wrong does anybody have any ideas?

Love them a lot. Couldn't risk a bite to traumatize my kid tho so he got a corn.
