Disclaimer: Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are not FDA approved medications, however, they are legally allowed by FDA when a brand medication (Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro or Zepbound) are on the FDA national shortage list.

Compounded medications require a prescription and must meet specific criteria for legal use. Compounded semaglutide or tizepatide with ingredients such as acetates, salts, and other additives should be avoided. Only take compounded semaglutide and/or tirzepatide from prescribers that you trust.

This video outlines the steps for compounded semaglutide and/or tirzepatide. This video is intended for Dr Covington's direct medical patients, however, is being shared for others who may need more detail or tips on how to administer the medication.

The syringe or needle should be discarded in a safe container after use - this is considered any container that shields the needle by most states. Please use your state's guidelines for safe domestic sharp's disposal.

I'm going to school for nursing and thankfully have a lot of practice with needles with my medical assisting background... However, reading through the comments makes me worry for people doing this. If you're not sure about the amount to draw up on the syringe, I suggest doing a simple search for how to read an insulin syringe. Also getting help from someone at your doctor's office.... Finding someone in your location, who can explain it might also be helpful. There are many photos that show it as well... Please be careful people. ❤

Terrible video. You can see the needle is bent, you can see the resistance in extracting the medication, and adding air is needed in the vial because of pressurization. The question is how much air is needed and what to do with the resistance.
