M18 FUEL™ Oscillating Multi-Tool
The MILWAUKEE® M18 FUEL™ Oscillating Multi-Tool Kit generates the fastest cuts, the power for demolition, and the lowest full tool vibration. The POWERSTATE™ Brushless Motor delivers 10,000 to 20,000 OPM with an aggressive 4.2-degree oscillation angle to deliver the fastest cuts over the competition. The cordless multi-tool also delivers the power to complete many demanding applications with ease, such as large cuts through hardwoods and nail embedded wood, pushing the limits of what a multipurpose oscillating tool can do. Vibration dampening technology delivers the lowest full tool vibration, making cuts more comfortably with less fatigue. The M18™ REDLITHIUM™ XC5.0 battery delivers more work per charge than competitive batteries on the market when used with the multitool. The M18 FUEL™ Oscillating Multi-Tool has a 10-Setting Dial with an additional Auto-Load Feature, allowing users to adjust the speed to the application. I went M18 with the old models but M12 Fuel with the new ones. I didn't think the M18 Fuel really brought $80 worth of more features and cutting speed. Obviously the M18 Fuel has an advantage but I am completely happy with my decision to get the M12 Fuel. I am a soft case fan also. The bags are more versatile then the hard cases.

Another great video TRZ! I’m in the M18 platform and I bought the brushed Multi tool a few months ago. As a DIYer, I can’t justify buying the FUEL unless my brushed version burns out some time down the road. It currently serves my purposes well, can’t complain 👍

Looked like it was a little cold out in the shop. I loved the way the motor kicked it up a notch on the auto setting. It sounded like it was about to change gears like a 2 cycle motor lol

Hey man..Excellent channel. I have started coming here FIRST when I'm thinking of buying a tool. I'm in U.K.but we get the same tools her mostly. Since everyone is going foe the M12 multitool the M18 is actually much cheeper over here. Following your comparison review of both I've gone for the M18. The charger takes both 12v and 18v batteries. Ta very much

Finally got one for $120.
No bag
No blade
No velcro pad
No problem, lol.

I considered getting the brushed version, but decided to wait for the brushless tool. I have an older corded Fein, and the vibration is terrible. The little vibration that this Milwaukee tool has is a big selling point for me.

Great review...lots of fun watching these..not just kicking out specs and reading a brochure...I’m going to lean towards the new fuel m12 oscillating tool...need a smaller unit than the beastly M18 bad boy 😆

I literally just walked out of Home Depot with mine right now. I had to get one because my 4 year old Ridgid X4 multi tool shuts itself off after only about 5 minutes of use cutting through wood cabinetry walls or sheetrock. Very frustrating when trying to access a bathtub drain behind the wall and you have to clean your truck until the tool lets you use it again.

I had a hard time deciding between this one or a Dewalt Atomic Multi Tool. Home Depot is running a special where if you buy an 18v charger with 2 batteries, you get an Atomic Multi Tool with it for free. That would have saved me about $30 over this Milwaukee, but I don't want to invest in a new battery platform. The only use I'll have left for my 18v Ridgid batteries will be for circular saw and jobsite blower (mostly used to blow out debris on my work van floor instead of using a broom). The other reason I'm hesitant to go to Dewalt is that even though my Milwaukee tools have needed to be serviced, each time I brought them to the service center in Houston I got brand new tools provided for free. That list over the last three years has included 2 12v sink snake machines, m18 Searchlight flashlight, 12v hackzall, 12v hammer drill, and m18 battery pack.

Dewalt doesn't have anything I could find that Milwaukee hasn't made for my plumbing profession. Plus, I have the Rapid charger from Milwaukee that charges up my 12v and 18v stuff at the same time, so I'm not having to keep 4 battery chargers on my truck to charge stuff.

Sincere question. How does this rate in comparison to the Milwaukee M12 FUEL Orbital Detail Sander? For sanding only comparison, thank you.

Wish all the features they gave the M18 they would have put in the M12 model I think there both nice I think there is less vibration with the m18 model @ToolReviewZone

Do you figure running 3AH batteries on this gives it enough power? I like the slim profile and it doesn't seem like the kind of tool that really needs the higher current batteries.

Yo TRZ! I gotta say, the auto-mode seems pretty sweet! Do you re- sharpen your blades or just toss them?

I bought this and it came with a tiny little piece that goes in between the blade/sander - do you not need that?
