Our M18 FUEL™ Oscillating Multi-Tool Kit generates the fastest cuts, the power for demolition, and the lowest full tool vibration. The POWERSTATE™ Brushless Motor delivers 10,000 to 20,000 OPM with an aggressive 4.2-degree oscillation angle to deliver the fastest cuts over the competition. The cordless multi-tool also gives you the power to complete many demanding applications with ease, such as large cuts through hardwoods and nail embedded wood, pushing the limits of what a multipurpose oscillating tool can do. Vibration dampening technology delivers the lowest full tool vibration, letting you make cuts more comfortably with less fatigue. REDLINK PLUS™ Intelligence ensures you achieve unmatched levels of performance, protection, and compatibility. The M18™ REDLITHIUM™ XC5.0 battery delivers more work per charge than competitive batteries on the market when used with the multitool. The MILWAUKEE® M18 FUEL™ Oscillating Multi-Tool has a 10-Setting Dial with an additional Auto-Load Feature, allowing you to adjust the speed to the application. An integrated 180-degree LED light provides maximum visibility in low-light situations.

Just an FYI. I was using a multi tool for 2 - 3 hours straight with couple of minutes break and then took a 2 hour lunch after which another 4 hours of multi tool. At night i started having a nose bleed and would not stop. I had a heart surgery in 2012. I read this which researched whether the tool/vibration was causing this.

What is hand-arm vibration?
Hand-arm vibration is vibration transmitted from work processes into workers' hands and arms. It can be caused by operating hand-held power tools, such as road breakers, and hand-guided equipment, such as powered lawnmowers, or by holding materials being processed by machines, such as pedestal grinders.

When is it hazardous?
Regular and frequent exposure to hand-arm vibration can lead to permanent health effects. This is most likely when contact with a vibrating tool or work process is a regular part of a person’s job. Occasional exposure is unlikely to cause ill health.

What health effects can it cause?
Hand-arm vibration can cause a range of conditions collectively known as hand-arm vibration syndrome (HAVS), as well as specific diseases such as carpal tunnel syndrome.

What are the early symptoms?
Identifying signs and symptoms at an early stage is important. It will allow you, as the employer, to take action to prevent the health effects from becoming serious for your employee. The symptoms include any combination of:

Tingling and numbness in the fingers;
Not being able to feel things properly;
Loss of strength in the hands;
Fingers going white (blanching) and becoming red and painful on recovery (particularly in the cold and wet, and probably only in the tips at first).
For some people, symptoms may appear after only a few months of exposure, but for others they may take a few years. They are likely to get worse with continued exposure to vibration and may become permanent.

What effects do these symptoms have?
The effects on people include:

Pain, distress and sleep disturbance;
Inability to do fine work (eg assembling small components) or everyday tasks (eg fastening buttons);
Reduced ability to work in cold or damp conditions (ie most outdoor work) which would trigger painful finger blanching attacks;
Reduced grip strength, which might affect the ability to do work safely.
These effects can severely limit the jobs an affected person is able to do, as well as many family and social activities.

Just thought of sharing.

I don't know how anyone claims this can change blades toolless. I find it impossible to remove the bolt without a screwdriver.

The rare W for DeWalt… Milwaukee is showing signs of complacency I think.

This is great tool but it's worthless if nobody sells the sanding discs and attachments for it. Home Depot in Montana carries nothing for this. And your sizing of your sanding disc is not the same as aftermarket discs, so nothing fits this thing. Your marketing and sales network in Montana needs to be greatly improved. You shouldn't have to wait to months on back order to get tools, blades, and so on.

For cutting, its probably great but DO NOT USE THIS TOOL WITH THE SANDING PAD. The wider oscillation range is great for increasing cutting speed but for sanding it makes more heat (you listening R&D???). The tip of the pad on mine melted within the first 10 minutes of use and the hook and loop tore off the included sanding sheet when trying to replace it. I'd bought this specifically for exterior paint prep on window trim along with the overpriced batteries and charger. Worthless. As a matter of fact, I have yet to 'upgrade' to a single Milwaukee tool that was not a disappointment.
