As far back in Canada, starting in the 80’s, the United Church of Canada was already starting to rewrite the Bible. Because they said, the bible didn’t fit the “ going ons today “ .

Listen to the Gospel. It says, repent and turn from your sins. We all are sinners in need of Jesus. "I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world" John 12:47-48.

As a former homosexual for 15 years, people need to understand that those that have been in that have come out of said former lifestyle were surrounded in an echo-chamber of lies and we were deluded. Unfortunately for me, I was told that Jesus loved me the way that I was so I continued in my sin… But by the grace of God and his sovereignty, I am now free of bondage and saved. Like one of the other people said in the comments, no one is ever too far gone to be saved by Christ, even people that have done the most wicked sins, including those entrenched in the LGBTQ movement.

The church was never meant to be a sanctuary for the unsaved, it was to be a sanctuary for believer who are saved and want to grow and learn God word.
We are not suppose to adapt our belief to make the unsaved feel good, the truth is suppose to prick their heart unto repentance and expose their evil deeds and hopefully turn them toward Christ gracious offer of salvation.

Here's my three criteria for finding a good church:
1. Do they believe and preach the Bible?
2. Do they regularly preach the gospel and its response?
3. Do they adore and worship Christ in word and deed?

Sadly, since we have abandoned external Evangelism, we just do our best to invite unbelievers to church and market the heck out of the experience, and hope for the best.

I used to go to (City Church) Churchome when I lived in WA. It was more of a Ted Talk than an actual service. Don’t expect to ever hear them preach anything “controversial”.

September 2018 rocked my family with the hurricane Florence. To lives and properties displaced we gave $45k. We also gave in 2020 COVID year. God never faltered on his written and spoken promises over my household.
