I have the Creator Emerald Night Train and the original box. I just absolutely love it! This was what got me back into Lego since I was a child and I haven't stopped since, mostly buying modulars but got the Orient Express when it was released. Great video looking back at some of the older sets. Hopefully Lego will continue producing awesome trains 😊

I was a little surprised to see the new freight train be the lowest because it comes with a lot of track and gives that good modern day industrial feel. White isn’t my color but I think it’s good and would’ve ranked it higher. I got the Maersk train at the Disney Lego store back in 2010 and I still have it 98% complete I’m glad I kept it so if I got another one I can make it a double header container train! I also have the orient express it’s cool and was a good build I got it when it was on sale for $240 instead of $300 I do wish they made the track display piece more colorable than just black though. I’m thinking about getting more of the cargo trains even though they’re retired bc trains were a big thing for me as a kid and would be GREAT for a Lego city. I just got the red 7938 passenger train from eBay new for a decent price and I want the 60051 passenger train or the 60052 cargo train next maybe. Idk if I’ll get any of the hogwarts express sets bc I never got into Harry Potter but red is my favorite color but I don’t think I’ll buy any. If I did though, I’d probably buy the one that comes with 2 coaches bc the one before that is too small and the collectors one is basically retired and idk if I’d spend that money on a theme I never got into. If the 2 coaches one had connecting rods on the wheels I’d want it more. Pet peeve of mine is when steam locomotives don’t have the rods on the wheels. I also plan to get the Disney train bc it’s a great looking locomotive with rods and it would remind me of my future sister in law bc she works at Disney and lives in Orlando near there with my brother. Lastly, if I can get emerald night for a decent price off stock x or etc I’ll buy it and then get more coaches for it to make it complete bc I think the British locomotives look better than American ones in some ways. Emerald night goes for $800-900 new on eBay which is crazy. One day I may try to make my own locomotive and cars or something bc at some point as a collector I should try building some stuff myself after buying so many sets just to challenge myself or change it up. I’d maybe build a tank engine or some kind of steam train idk. There’s also the hobby set 10183 where you can build so many types of train cars or locomotives I may want too. That’s one to add to your list if that helps! Sorry for the super long comment I just sometimes have a lot to say or just thought you’d like hearing all of my thoughts

lone ranger train was fun! Want more steam locmotives. I delayed getting super chief for 40, and yeah that hurt my wallet later on when i decided to grab one. still do not have the cars. LOVE emerald night

This has to be the most depressing heart breaking and overall awful video I have ever seen. So we get to look back at a bunch of quality trains that got sold in the past during a time I was not buying Lego, but could have and should have but didnt so now I get to see what I missed out on...and I thinks I might just cry.
