I try to sharpen about 1-2 times a month on my walker for my yard. Super quick and easy. And gets a clean cut.

The balancing is key, need to make sure that you make the same amount of passes on each side to keep your blades balanced! Less wear and tear on the lawnmower itself

While you can certainly sharpen the blades once a month it’s not practical for a homeowner throughout the season as a landscaper yes but homeowners not so much and here’s why most landscapers mow in wet conditions at some point throughout the day morning or if it’s raining off and on as homeowner you don’t have to do that if you mow in the dry part of the day your blades will last all season just make sure to time it right don’t mow at night unless worst case scenario you got home late and it’s gonna rain the next day and your grass needs cut and avoid early mornings those are my tips but if you have the time I’d say sharpen as much as you can and as much as you want

I detest that mower. 22” ego. It was extremely difficult to maneuver. Very heavy. I used it a whole month trying to get past the annoying screeching whirr noise and how cumbersome it was to turn. I didn’t like the different level adjustments in front and back. I wanted 1 adjustment, single handed while still mowing. Had to return. PIA to get the warranty refund back since I didn’t need it after I gave it back at Lowe’s.
Great video though.
Super expensive battery, they sometimes give out 1 after you buy, but with mine they offered an additional blade. No thanks. $1450 with warranty; I guess, things are always better when they are free 😉

That razor sharp edge will only last a short while, likely less than a complete mow, then it will be back to the way it was before.
