Elephants escape rising flood water in Thailand

Around 100 elephants were forced to evacuate the Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai, Thailand due to severe flooding. The elephants are sheltering at a nearby mountain as the water levels continue to rise at the park.

it is not true that they evacuated 3 days earlier only in this farm there were 2 elephants lost their lives because of neglecting the warning or they intended to leave them behind. lastly other farms and vets needed to extend their helps since the owner refused other help from the start.

It’s heartbreaking that their staff or whoever responsible for take care of them couldn’t do anything to help them, so that the rescue team from various elephants camps have to help these poor souls. 2 of them found death from being swept away by flooding

Recently, 2 elephants drowned and 1 died. Flash floods blew the elephants into trees. Another was a 40-year-old blind elephant.😢
