Love learning new things after 25 yrs. of rv'ing. Moving the thermistor...didn't know it was placement specific for coolness.

Best thing I ever did for my fridge was tear it out and put in a 12v compressor fridge. No flame hazard, no exterior vent, and it runs completely off my solar.

What about if it’s hot out and the freezer is cold/ not freezing. The refrigerator is warm? And yes, the thermostats up high we’re supposed to go.

Good stuff Todd, I never thought about turning off the fans. Do you know of a source for a thermostat fo the fans? Keep the good stuff coming.

I would like to see an episode on wiring up an RV frig to battery inverter for travel days when you do not want the propane on.

OK I have to ask. Why do you suggest not putting a fan on the back of an absorption refrigerator for rv.

Can you do a video about refrigerators while traveling? I've heard two things. Obviously, I have an AC/Propane fridge. A dealer told me if I was traveling and wanted to keep food cool, switch it to gas and let it run during the trip. I have also been told it's technically illegal to have propane on while traveling. Is this safe to do? Or, would it be better to install an inverter just for the fridge? I follow racing circuits, so I move a lot.

My Norcold N811V 8cft manual says to move Thermistor left for cooler or right for warmer. What about operation on gas above 5500 feet? Have you heard of Dinosaur Electronics controls for high altitude?

I FULL time RV ... and discovered that my frig light was staying ON when I closed the door ... ordered a new switch (Dometic) and installed it, and it STILL stays ON... WTH? HELP !!

How cold outside before the heater can't keep enough heat behind fridge to make cooling the fridge ? Would placing a small heater behind help.. like 300 watt ?

Looks like you are going really fast with the slides out. Bet you are getting bad gas mileage!
