My norcold 9162 works good most times . Come winter time I will have some days where all light on fridge blink constantly.

Good video on how to operate the unit and where to locate fuse Box but does not help on figuring out the issues and many people asking how to solve this or that and no response. It's a missed opportunity to be a good help.

Freezer is super cold and I thought fridge wasn't working because it took awhile but it seems to be getting cold now.
Unfortunately for some reason no matter what code I set it on. Auto / LP or just LP or AC and I've had it on electric and propane it doesn't matter. After about 4 or 5 minutes it starts beeping and read's an error code but it's hard to tell what it is. It basically looks like a ' dr ' but the unit doesn't shut down

If light is flashing, I got it fixed by running a gas ring on the stove, and then going from OFF to GAS on the refrigerator. If you listen closely you’ll hear the fridge trying to light the pilot light, if it fails, simply turn the fridge back to off, count to 5, and set back to GAS. You’ll hear pilot light again, and then maybe you’ll hear it trying to fire as the gas finally comes through. Eventually it’ll fire properly. As far as i can tell, this is because you ran the gas empty on the vehicle and theres air in the line now.

Ok so I have this same fridge and I turned it off and now it will not come back on when I hold down the button...it’s not the fuses and I checked all wires power is not an issue

Light in fridge is not an indicator of cooling as it is separate system and most likely from 12v.

I'm a full time boondocker. Got this RV off a friend a few months ago. Fridge is exactly the one in this video.
Always ran on LP with no problem until today. No error codes, seems as if it's working properly. Pilot lights fine, flame great but both fridge & freezer defrosted today. Not cooling at all.
Realized this at 10pm. Friend hooked up my ac cord from the back of my fridge to an extention cord going to his solar system for the night to see if it will run on ac.
The generator doesn't work in my RV & I need to install a switch to run it on ac, threw my converter & to the solar or it will set off the Inverter alarm. Running it on LP is the only way I can run my fridge at the moment. Please help? What is wrong? It just stopped cooling but everything acts like it's running as it should?

What about dc mode? what about when driving does it automatically go to dc? So if my rv fridge works in off mode do I reverse polarity my switch. Should I connect power to ground to reverse. Plus if I'm not using it do I power off?

We replaced the control board but the readout is flashing. The manual has mentioned a reset several times. Where is the reset?

Mine won’t turn on. At all. It wa working I think I started the generator while it was plugged into direct power now it doesn’t give me an option to put to ac or propane. It’s just totally off. Checked all breakers

In our brand new Norcold 4150, the solenoide valve seems to be lock and gas does not get to the ignition area. How do we unlock that valve? Currently it is working on AC and DC, but not on propane.

please help...my norcold 821 keeps throwing a code then not working afterwards...the code doesn't show in the manual (looks like a square, like the bottom of an 8) & isn't getting cold enough. The propane lights & works & it's trying to get cold(fridge got down to 50 on electric then threw code again. we had it unplugged for months with no temperature regulation inside all summer It's been 90 to 100 degrees everyday here in Arkansas. We 1st plugged it in to an extension cord for 2 days & it got down to 50 in fridge & 40 in freezer then threw the code...so we lit the propane last night & this morning it doesn't seem cooler. We're leaving for a 1 month vacation tomorrow morning to Utah & I'm in a panic after learning the price of these things Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated Thanks in advance I appreciate you 🙏

Do you know anything about water heaters and electrical hook ups. I can't seem to get a hardwire answer anywhere. My propane water heater blew so I converted to a 110V 20gal water heater. The smallest that hardware store had. Hooked a straight power cord 3prong to it. Unplug when not using. But while plugged up I can't have many light on. Or other power sources. Or it keeps breaking the breaker or it burns up in the plug that I have to change periodically on the exterior plug of camper. It's nerve-wracking LOL

My refrigerator always shuts off after changing the temp setting, first time it did it I went colder, the guy I bought it from reset it, so day before yesterday I changed back down a notch as everything was freezing, woke up this and it's began it's thawing... You have any idea what to do

Without knowing i started the fridge in mu driveway not leveled and the "n" code came on, i restarted it and "n" came on again. Realized it allows you one reset. Is there any way to reset it again without having to take it to a technician?

We have the same fridge and are trying to install in off grid cabin. The fridge worked before being removed from RV but we are now having trouble getting it to work. We have no power at all on panel. We would like to connect to propane and we have also been told it needs to be connected to a 12v battery in order to run ( complete the circuit) How do we go about connecting the fridge to the 12 volt battery?

My frig keeps saying f and I can't change or set temp what dose that mean and what do I do. My husband left freezer door open ice melted got control panel wet but I dryed it out and tryed to put it back on elec, what do I do please help.
