Get to know Harry, one of our 2022 Advocacy Fellows! He escaped North Korea at 13 years old with his mom and resettled in South Korea.
Harry’s a bright university student with a daring sense of humor, who makes friends easily wherever he goes. As an Advocacy Fellow, he spoke to audiences across the U.S. about his journey in freedom- the difficulties he faced while adjusting, the support system that helped him to find his voice, and the yearning he still has for his homeland.
He’s working towards the day when the friends he’s made all over the world can meet his friends back home in a free North Korea.
