Wagyu is the cow type, Kobe is the region of Japan who speciales in the breeding of Wagyu beef...So if the beef was grown Canada, it's Wagyu, not Kobe beef

Not hating on your video but, that's definitely not real Kobe bro. I think you got ripped.
Firstly, no certificate (All Kobe's have certs)
Secondly, i've been to Japan like 5 times. I normally paid around $200+ per Kobe steak and they were only around ~150-200g. Your package says almost half a kilo for $50?! And it's IMPORTED somemore, so it should technically be more expensive than in Worse yet, the words are written in KOREAN, not JAPANESE. And you bought it at a 'mart'.. Albeit an international mart, but still very unlikely.
At the premier butcher i frequent, the best cut they have that is air flown from Japan is this A5 Miyazaki Wagyu, that costs $37 per 100g. It's not even Kobe and would cost me almost $180 for 500g, which was your serving size....

You cook wagyu rare or else it toughens. Top grade wagyu, as far as I remember, isn’t sold outside of Japan. But, still delicious.
