Hi! Thank you for making this series of video. It really helps for my thesis.
I have a question, btw.
I have Office 2010 (32 bit) in my Windows 2007 (64 bit) -- well some technician reinstalled my Windows and upgraded it to 64 without my permission -- which makes me have to download Ms. Access 2010 Runtime instead of the 2013 version (32 bit). But after I finished installing, there is no "Microsoft Access (Microsoft Access Database Engine" or something like that in my data source. Would you tell me if there is something I miss? Thank you!

Thank you so much for the video. very halpful!
I have one issue that does not work....
on SQL Server Import and Export Wizert part, I do not have the so called:  Access database Engine, on dropdwon list, as you show on your video.
as far as I found, this works in 64-bit only.
could not figure out how to do this process with 32-bitI have WIN 8 with Office 2013  - 32-bit

Any idea how to solve this ?

Hi Steve, I want to thank you for all your great video tutorials and can help me a lot. I have questions for you, how can i change the datatype date permanently because its showing in my forms like this(2017-05-31) change already into date datatype) and connected into sql server, same as i select the data and also when i generate all the reports. I want to change permanently and become like this (31-May-17). Any possible command or process i go through to make this happen? Thank you in advance.

I'm limited to Access 2010 at work. Can I apply these techniques to that version? I downloaded the Access Runtime 2010 version and will give it a go, but if I'd be wasting my time, i.e. the procedures are different than with 2013 discussed here, I won't pursue it.

Hey Steve. I did not get a warning on my validating in the import/export wizard. Any idea why that could be?

You probably are aware that Access applications that ran previously without issue started crashing when being run on Windows 10 build 1803 machines (see DevHut blog) around June of this year. MS has issued a workaround which suggests disabling LeasingLock on the server housing the back-end. Clients are reluctant to do this apparently because it degrades network performance. Another suggestion is that the back-end should be ported to SQL Server. Pleas from developers to Microsoft asking for some action on this issue have fallen on deaf ears. Can you share your perspective and suggest what is the best way to deal with this?

Hi Steve, first of all i want to thank you for these videos, and i want to excuse for my english (im from argentina).
I wanna ask you if there is a way to make this process but in a database that has been separated in back-end and front-end. I tried to do it from the front end, and the import was succesful but it only recognize the queries, not the tables (beacuse there were only the links to the back-end).. And if i do it with de back end, it wouldn't import the queries...
So, do you know if there is a solution for this case? Or do i have to put the parts of the database together? (I don't remember how to put them together)
