Don't get me wrong - it's an AMAZING phone BUT there are SOO many different things that are lacking OR altogether NOT working and broken - SO make sure to watch before picking up wither of these phones! We'll also talk about whether it's worth waiting for the Z FLIP 6!

With all the NEW features the Z FLIP 5 brings to the table, there HAD to be a TON of corners cut especially to fit everything into the slim form factor to keep things portable. Although these "compromises" were OKAY on the Z FLIP 3 - 2 generations later and things are starting to feel SUPER laggy - especially when compared to the HEAVYWEIGHTS IN ALMOST THE SAME PRICE RANGE (s24 Ultra, and the iPhone 14/15) - so maybe its become harder to tolerate the shortcomings?

Got my zflip5 since day 1 and its still looks brand new, it takes special kinda of people to know how to care for these phones. You have throw away what you think about taking care of a brick phone and learn how to care for these types of phones entirely. I also have the flip 4 who my gf is using, and it still looks good as new. 🤷‍♂️ i think the same people who break this phone are guaranteed to break any other phone as well.

Open and close the flip till the debris comes out. It's designed to slowly push small particles out as you flip it. Hold the phone upside down and open and close it till you see the dirt on the edges of the hinge and wipe it away. Repeat and wipe till the sound is gone. If it's really dirty, it takes about 5 minutes of flipping to get it clean

Have you had any issues with the screen. I bought mine back in April and just after three months I had to replaced the screen twice. I have insurance, but the premium is high.

I love your videos, sadly my Z Flip 4 broke, and I have to repair it myself as I’m not giving Samsung 500 GBP to do it for me. Keep up the good content, especially with foldables

Agreed. Went through 2 Galaxy Flip 5s, had to switch to the ultra 24*. Battery and durability were the main factors.

Thank you for such a wonderful review! I currently own a laggy iPhone 12, and wanted to make the switch to Samsung. I’ve been wanting the Z flip, but I’m going to hold off and get the S24 ultra instead. I’m too afraid of the crease issues, as well as the battery and camera graininess. My zflip5 still is as good as new, no weird sound on the hinge, no green lines, no screen protector issues. Ive always had a case on it though, but no hinge protection (i dont like cases like that bc it’s bulky). I even took it with me as i swam around a pool and took photos/vids hehe! I guess im just lucky…wasnt looking to upgrade but ended up trading it in for the zflip6 because of the deals lol

I have the flip 5, 15 pro, s24u, and pixel 8 just recently I started carrying the flip again because my s24 ultra is a brick in my pocket and everyone has a iPhone I like to be different even at the cost of the camera . Very good review and update .

so at the 1:13 mark, is the screen peeling at the crease edges? i've had this on flip 2, 3 and 4, made me skip the 5... at 2:07, you said it is fine, but again at 1:13 it appears that it did.

I love my Z Flip 5, I bought it in the last month, the cameras are awesome for me, even in low light, I wish it can record 4K 60FPS on the ultra wide but it can't

This is a perfect match! Ive heard iphone 15 is not that great so I was looking into getting the lilac iphone 14 but now Ive been considering the lilac samsung flip phone. Couldn’t be a more perfect comparison. Been a true apple customer but the camera is not that great compared to other brands
