Just one thing for anyone who needs to hear it: it's ok to have texture on your lips ;)
The matte lipstick trend was at its peak with Kylie Jenner's "all natural" lip-injection lips and lip injections can make lip texture disappear but lips have lines and that's normal. We really need to stop making issues out of stuff that is very natural.

I bought Homecoming Queen and love it. Instead of swiping it I stamp it on and get a beautiful blurred flush. I do have dry lines lips. I might just have lucked out by buying one of the colors that works. Thinking of trying I’m shy.

I should have watched this video before I bought one 😅 You're totally right! I got the red one and the color looks patchy as all heck. I love the soft blur look, if it wouldn’t settle into your lip lines and make you look crazy 😩 I did like the lack of transfer, like if i kissed my hand, it didnt get on it, but thats about the only plus 😬

Id probably LOVE these I like low pigment sheer lipsticks, can't stand high pigment lippies...

These remind me of AOA studio venetian romance lipsticks, I have that one in shade Folly and I love it’s colour BUT, it gets super patchy but feels like I have nothing on my lips similar to powder I guess

Found this video because a friend gifted me one of these lipsticks from her PR box…. It was apricot smoothie and yes! I experienced all the same issues!! I love the concept of blurred matte lip but this one wasn’t it- now I’m curious about the shades that worked for you…. Maybe I’ll put my CVS rewards & coupons to work to try another one!😁

I remember the Maybelline Blurs, and I liked those.I bought the light shade of these and had to pull on my lips just to get a little color payoff.I thought I just got a bad one, but seems like they vary in text ure.

Great review! I usually love wet n wild. But when it comes to lipsticks I steer clear of the word sheer. I like to hear the word pigmented LOL. Balms and glosses and oils can be sheer but not lipsticks IMO.

Hi lovely! This is definitely been my least favorite purchase of the year so far. I literally had to push the lipstick into my lips multiple times to get a few coats on. So bad! The other huge flaw is that it barely lasts. Oh well..back to my beloved favorites

I wear matte lipsticks pretty much every single day because even though glossy ones feel nicer I hate how super shiny they are 😅 What I personally do to help not make it look super drying on my lips is that I apply my EOS “birthday cake” chapstick from the beginning before even applying my everyday skincare routine (it’s what I’ve been using recently, I’ve tried other brand chapsticks) and I leave it for the rest of my makeup routine because lipstick is what I apply last. It has personally worked for me and my lips do not ever look dry. 🥰
