Do you find yourself waking up at night to go to the bathroom? Many think it's normal to have to wake up to urinate and rationalize it by thinking maybe they just drank too much water at dinner or they're just getting older. But, in general, you should never have to get up to relieve yourself if you are functioning optimally. Dr. Huang, our favorite pelvic health therapist, shares some tips to keep you from waking up in the middle of the night to go!

No water 3 hrs before bedtime seems like a long time.

Thanks for the tips! I drink sparkling water, which is carbonated so I’m thinking I’ll stop this. I’ll also try to stop drinking 3 hours before bed. I only get up once a night, but I can never get back to sleep afterwards.
Thanks again for the helpful advice 👍

I've read a more clear explanation about the anti diuretic hormone 0:45 which condenses the urine quantity, which make sense, because if you do not urinate until you arise in the morning then your urine will be darker than usual - not that you held your pee, which is unhealthy,

Hi, my name is Joe, I urinate at least 15 to 20 times a day. I have a very weak stream. And I can’t seem to push the Urine like I did when I was younger. I wake up three times at least at night to pee and when I do pee, it’s only a few ounces at a time. And sometimes when I’m done urinating it dribbles out when I put my pants back on. And I think this has something to do with my ED problems as well. It seems like they both happened right around the same time. I have no idea what’s going on, I do consume a lot of fluids per day, but my stream is very weak and not powerful at all. Any suggestions would really be appreciated. This is really getting old. Thanks for your help..I’ll wait to hear from you guys!

I wondered why I rarely get up to use the bathroom, but my sis gets up 2 to 3 times. She loves soda, and now it makes sense!
