The prone position is new for me but the stretching of my affected arm and shoulder is incredible and is helping with my arm swing and with gait. You’re the best

This is a really advanced level, I need some time to master the proper execution of these exercises. In this series, he revealed how much the work of the unaffected party can help the affected party, it surprised me. You are a top expert, thank you Tara, have a nice week.

hi i had a stroke anataxia, nausia and dizzyness. I have complained on taras comments about not being able to walk normal several times now. Ive realized something, i have been walking more from my core which makes me wobble more when i do walk from side to side. And i realized today that I am not really walking from my hips and when i do walk from my hips more then my core, i can walk with my feet closer together, Im not swaying from side to side as much. If you try this ask your pt or dr about it first. If you practice walking this way know that you do so at your own risk. Im just saying what, seems to be helping me to walk more normal. it does not cure my dizzyness or nausia. if this helps anybody in anyway improve their walking leave a thumbs up or message. Thank You

This is awesome. Core workouts, stretching and rolling are great tools to help in recovery. Strengthening the core helps with balance, stretching helps with reducing spasticity. Rolling helps with coordination and body control at least in my case. I try to get up and down from the floor as much as a I can, it's getting to a point where I no longer have to think about it. This was very difficult for me in the beginning. Full body workouts can also help with recovery. It's important to give attention to the unaffected side as well. Every time I finish working out, my arm naturally relaxes to my side. Exercising can tire out the spasticity, making it too tired to flex. When I was in outpatient, my OT hooked my fingers up to a magnetic machine that has vibration and said it's used to tire out the spasticity in the fingers, which will make the fingers easier to try to open and close. I applied that same concept to my workouts.

I have been walking around slowly. But now my toes are curling on my affected leg.
So now I have to correct my toes and walk. It works for a while. Then my toes curl up again. Is there any tools that I can use to put pressure under the toe bones to keep my toes in the right place. I'm two year's post stroke.
Any suggestions on that please.
If I can stop the toes from curling. My walking speed would improve much more.
Appreciate U always
