I'd rather have windows updates that allows users to change more of their OS default settings, like cpu clock speeds.
If you didnt already know, theres different settings for clock speeds hidden behind regedit, after successfully changing the right "attribute", a hidden setting will be shown in advanced power options which allows the system to agressively boost clock speeds or be more efficient with boosting, or disable boosting completely which will limit it to base clock speeds.
Very useful settings for laptop users that is locked behind a application (regedit) that is not designed for amature users.

You can also right click on the battery icon or the start icon on the task bar and change the power plan from the mobility center.

In the control panel, enable small icons. It's not that buried. I like how modern settings look like (their look) but I find old but gold control panel much useful

Considering that Microsoft started making the new settings app for windows back in windows 8 I find it odd that we’ve made it to windows 11 before they even finished off the need to dig into the original control panel from windows 7

Remember when windows 7 just had a search bar for files on computer now they got cortana that takes you straight to a google search when trying to find a file

You can't even access all bluetooth device settings. Because it goes to the wrong menu unless you right click the option in control panel. Its quite wild

Honestly i hate the old control panel because it's so messy for me so I'm so glad they gonna move it to the new setting app
