I’m getting older now. I’m 55 years old. I’ve been playing music since I was a baby. I’m a multi-instrumentalist. I play bass drums, guitar, keyboard piano I do recording producing engineering. Lately I’ve been thinking about retiring so I traded in some of my equipment for three Martin guitars. A custom shop 1937D 18 authentic. A herringbone D 28. Lastly, a D 35. Winding things down this is the way that I wanna go. Just me and an acoustic guitar is all that I need. So I’m gonna eventually take all of my equipment and turn them into Martin guitars.

Thank you for your show. I love it. I watch it quite often.
Thank you for having Chris Martin on the show. He’s a wonderful person.

I’d like to thank the Martin company for these beautiful guitars
And thank you guys

I read Chris Martin and thought you were sitting down with the guy from Coldplay for a second 🤣. This is way cooler.

There has been many great interviews in the channel, but this is one of the best ever. Seasons greetings and all the best for Andertons, Martin, Chris and Lee

I own many instruments, two years ago I bought a new Martin D-18 Standard, I couldn’t be happier with a guitar. It sounds better all the time, hasn’t been back in the case since the day I got it except for traveling somewhere. Truly the standard to hold other dreadnought guitars to in my opinion.

What a treat! This is when Andertons is best, telling these great stories of the instrument makers we all adore! Thank you Mr.Lee!

I have purchased many Martin Guitars since 1979. A great American company, guitar builder but most important Chris Martin a nice gentleman. I've had the fortune to meet him at NAMM in Anaheim and talk to him. A living American legend for the whole world.

Lee, Just a huge thank you for the interview with Chris Martin who I met in the early 70s in Denmark Street. I was so impressed that I bought several D28s finally bought a 1941, and travelled with a hd model. I also love my D35 12string. This year I finally visited Nazareth and had a wonderful visit to the Museum and factory. Your interviewing ability is extraordinary,
your empathy, respect for history and just being a good guy is so valuable. So again thanks, look forward to buying more from your great store !

A reference standard discussion that included family, history, products and ownership transition-I loved it. All of my current Martins have C.F. Martin IV's signature on the inside label. Lee, thank you for demonstrating what value added service looks like by having guests like C.F. Martin IV on your channel, as well as showing a sincere interest during your discussions.

Fascinating interview! Thank you Lee for being curious about how Chris handled transitioning into the leadership role and relating it to your experience.

A fascinating interview. I like your interview technique where you pick up on what the interviewee is taking about and ask follow-up questions (rather than just going through a list of pre-prepared questions, which is what you tend to get on TV nowadays).

Hey!!! I live right down the street from the Factory. We are proud to have Martin Guitar still in Nazareth and hope they never leave. Also, I played a display cherrywood model that they had on the museum stage a few months ago. Sweetest playing and sounding guitar I’ve ever touched.

I've been lucky to own a few Martins, but I adore my 00-15M the most. It feels intimate, sounds great and does it all.
Thanks Chris.

This was truly fascinating. Thanks Chris for taking the time to sit down with Lee. As someone who studied business here in the states I can really appreciate Chris’s insights. I’ve owned two Martins and I’m in my mid 30s. Sold one but the one I currently I have is a D-18 from 2022. So much quality sound and craftsmanship in that instrument.

Fascinating and I stayed up late to watch it. Thank you so much. What actually touched me particularly was the comment about an emotional connection. I have two guitars, a 2008 000-28 and a 2022 CEO-7 and 'feel' that connection.

I didn't buy my first until I was 58 years old, far too long to wait but kids and mortgages etc took priority. Now 74, I play both every day, not a great player but I absolutely love what the instruments do TO me, the sense of satisfaction whilst intangible, is real.

CFM IV is fascinating, but so too was the 'Captain's' take on situations they shared to some extent.

Thanks again.

Absolutely loved your interview with C.F. Martin. I've never before heard the Martin story from Chris' perspective. Fascinating. Kudos.

What an amazing interview. I love how we have insight into how Chris ended up showing more skill in innovation and yet getting back to making legacy instruments.
